I’m Adam Bennett, I started The Business Coach & Mentor based on my own experiences of starting, running and exiting businesses.
The one thing we can’t control is time, now in my 40’s I am conscious of this more than ever! When I reflect back on my 20 year journey in scaling businesses I wish I knew then what I know now. This would have enabled me to grow my business faster and be more profitable with less mistakes along the way.
I have always had a passion for business from a young age, starting my first small business cleaning cars at 12 years old, I soon went on to buy and sell cars through my late teens until landing my first job in sales. Having spent several years in various industries from leisure to retail and working up to management level by the age of 22 I needed to scratch the itch of working for myself fulltime. Fast forward to now and having started, scaled and sold several businesses I now spend some of my time helping business owners avoid the same mistakes I made.
I work with a limited number of clients to help them build their dream business.

Why I Became a Business Mentor

Here’s the truth: I didn’t plan to become a coach or mentor.

It happened because, after selling my business, other owners started asking for my advice. They didn’t want motivational quotes or a ‘success blueprint’. They wanted the truth, what worked, what didn’t, and what they should do next.
And they wanted it from someone who understood the pressure of signing payroll cheques and losing sleep over cash flow, not someone who’d only ever been on the sidelines.
That’s how The Business Coach & Mentor was born. Not from a qualification, but from over 20 years of reps and sets in business.

Why Experience Matters More Than Qualifications

Here’s the truth:
